So as we all head into the new year we are all faced with the concept of New Years resolutions. Oh I have made
them before only to fall short of my goal as life (family and work) take over my good intentions. So this year I decided to get my friend Angela involved in my New Year resolution so that I have to be accountable to someone other than myself. Oh, I guess this would be a good place to tell you what my New Years Resolutionis.........well the plan is to be
physically active for a minimum of 30 minutes for all 365 days of the year. That is right every single day of 2012. So now you might be asking why are you blogging about it? Well Angela and I were trying to figure out how to keep each other on track, she lives in London and I live in Collingwood. We tried google calendar but that was really frustrating and then Angela sent me an excel sheet that had dates on it and that is not that much fun. So when I was snowshoeing the other day I thought to myself maybe I should blog about our efforts - make us accountable not only to each other but anyone else who might be interested in what we are up to. So that is the beginning of this blog I hope you enjoy and I look forward to your comments.

Days 338 - 342 The Last Stretch

Well we are now into December and it is hard to believe that I have almost completed my 2012 New Years Resolution.  This month I had hoped to blog about all that I had learned, the up and downs and any other profound things that came to mind.  But December is not a month that is allowing me to do that.  Well Christmas seems to be taking a lot of my time, work is extremely busy and of course I did not account for everyone getting sick (including myself).  So not only have I not wrapped up this year with wonderful words of wisdom for others I have not even been on top of my weekly blogging - so I do apologize for that.
 
Monday - Day 338 - this morning was a great start to the week - started with a great workout at Active Life.
 
Tuesday - Day 339 - it was extremely cold outside today - started out with the intention of getting in a brisk walk and was so cold I ended up running for 7 km.
 
Wednesday - Day 340 - legs were sore today got out for a run/walk for 45 minutes
 
Thursday - Day 341 - early morning workout with Sarah at Active Life - getting close to the end of the session so things are getting harder.
 
Friday - Day 342 - really busy day and did not get out for a run until late - 10 pm on a Friday night - obviously not much not going on in my life this Friday night - got in a good fast 5 km run though!
