Friday Day 125 - started early with a 30 minute spin class at the Y - why have a 30 minute spin class is beyond me - it takes me 30 minutes to warm up but I am trying to do a variety of cardio through out the week and spin is different then running - so it is a good workout to start and it gets me warmed up for the run on the treadmill after!! I managed 30 minutes today - so a total of 60 minutes - which is really what my goal is now on days that I can fit it in :)
Saturday Day 126 - did not get up as early today - a little tired from staying up late waiting for Matthew and 2 of his friends to fall asleep - Matthew had a sleep over! I did try out a new class at Active Life this morning - Push Your Pace/Metcon training - this was a completely different workout for me - felt like a guy workout - it included climbing ropes, throwing sand bags, push ups with our feet on the wall and lots of fast running. It was hard but fun! I then got out on my mountain bike for the first time this season. A good little tour in 3 stages with Sarah - she got a new bike so we needed to break it in. The weather has been so different this season that Sarah and I realized that we are 5 weeks earlier this year getting out on the trails then last year - and the conditions are like early summer! Crazy considering that people, including my husband, have been mountain biking for weeks already?!?!?! Felt good on the trails and I can't wait to get out there with the kids.
Sunday Day 127 - Sunday is fun day! I love Sundays - slow starts, tea on the front porch, not checking my email and just hanging out with the family. Today we started out the day with a hike/bike at 3 stages. Well Sean and Kade went mountain biking and Matthew and I went hiking - Matthew can't ride his bike with the cast - although he really wanted to :) It took Matthew and I just over an hour to work our way through some awesome trails that to be honest I have never hiked only biked - it is amazing how different they look when you walk them. It was a beautiful day and Kade and Sean had a great ride too.

I then got in a great 12 km run (just over an hour) with Heather - I so did not want to go for a run this afternoon but once we got started it was not so bad - the sun was out and the trails - which I am still discovering - are great in Collingwood. We did an entire loop around Collingwood and only ran along a road for a very short part! I now need to stretch!
